Patient Group
The Patient Group has been formed to liase with patients, doctors and staff, and to discuss matters relating to the surgery.
We meet every two months to raise any issues or news current at the time. We are looking for more volunteers to join either in person or email PPG.
It is made up of a group of patients who meet with the Practice Manager around six times a year, to discuss issues raised by patients, staff and Doctors.
Topics which have been discussed have been wide-ranging and have covered Diabetes, Heart Disease, as well as matters relating to the Practice as a whole, eg Appointments System, Out of Hours, comments about the Practice, other topics on patient care in general.
Whenever, a clinical area has been discussed one of the GPs attends to explain how the Practice monitors and treats this group of patients, and to answer questions.
If you have an issue that you would like the Patient Group to discuss, please speak to the Practice Manager who will ensure that it is discussed at the next meeting.

Our next PPG meeting will be held on 21st January 2020 at 1.00pm (subject to change). Please arrive 10 minutes early to have an informal chat.
