Patient Satisfaction Survey 2017

Patient Survey Methodology
  • The patient satisfaction survey is undertaken during the months of November – February each year, the busiest period in the practice in order to get the views of the widest possible range of patients.
  • The survey is conducted by members of the Patient Participation Group.
  • It takes the form of an ‘exit poll’ and patients are invited to complete a questionnaire after they have finished their consultation with a GP. From experience we have discovered that this is the most efficient way of gaining responses.
  • In order to ensure a representative sample, we collect 50 responses for each GP in the Practice.
  • The responses from the survey are collated for each individual GP, as is the demographic data to ensure that the survey is as representative a sample as possible.
  • The data is also cumulated to give a Practice-wide result, and this is shared with the Partners, the Patient Participation Group and placed on the Practice website.
